Sylvan Heights is seeking to hire the following positions:

AM Breakfast Staff Person:

  • Hours:  7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
  • Wage: $12.00 per hour (school year)
  • Job Description:  Assists in meal preparation, serving of meals, cleaning of all food service areas; assists in the handing of food and supplies; stands for long periods of time, and performs such other tasks and responsibilities necessary for the operation of the kitchen and cafeteria.
  • Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; will train

Building Aide (2 positions available):

  • AM Building Aide Hours: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (school year)
  • PM Building Aide Hours: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (school year)
  • Wage: $12.00 per hour
  • Job Description: Helps establish and maintain a safe atmosphere in the cafeteria, hallways, classrooms and/or playground areas.
  • Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; experience working with children preferred; will train

-TB test and physical as required by the Pennsylvania School Code

-Current Act 34 Clearance (Pa Criminal Background check)

-Current Act 151 Clearance (Child Abuse Clearance)

-Current Act 114 Clearance (Federal Fingerprinting) ( https://uenroll.identogo.com ) – Service Code: 1KG6Q9

-Clearances must be dated no later than one year prior to hire.
